April 29, 2015 in Bila Tserkva of Kyiv region the meeting with the representative of "Tribo" company and graduates of schools of Bila Tserkva was occured. There was a presentation of the TEMPUS MMATENG project and the possibilities of future cooperation in the field of training in materials science. The Project Coordinator from NTUU "KPI" I. Bogomol, Acting Head of High-temperature Materials and Powder Metallurgy Department professor A.M. Stepanchuk, the head of the district education department of Bila Tserkva and deputy director of "Tribo" company O. Savchuk were participated in meeting. It was a deep interest of representatives of the company and the department of education in training in the field of materials science at NTUU "KPI" including the use of new educational programs and European experience in frame of international educational TEMPUS MATTENG project.

The training report within the framework of international educational TEMPUS MATTENG project was highlighted by |Assistant Prof. M.V. Arshuk. As part of the report educational materials to new disciplines, which is planned to implement in the academic process were presented.

On May 9-20, 2015 in “Pryazovskyi State Technical University" the International Scientific Conference "University Science 2015" dedicated to the 85th Anniversary of PSTU will be held. The purpose of the conference: scientific discussion of results in research fields, expansion of scientific exchange, organization of international cooperation, strengthening of links of the industry with high school. During the conference the section "Modern material science in achieving the goals of the international MMATENG project» will be organized.

Pryazovskyi State Technical University and Krakow University of Technology cordially invite you to take part in the International Scientific-Methodological Conference «HOW TO TEACH MATERIAL SCIENCES: NEW APPROACHES AND EXPERIENCES FROM THE MMATENG PROJECT», which will be held on July 23, 2015 in Krakow Technical University.
The conference will be organized in the framework of the TEMPUS «MMATENG» project during the teachers’ training courses. The participants of trainings, the coordinators of project as well as all teachers and students of universities-partners involved into the project are invited to participate in the conference. n1In March 25-28, 2015 in Krakow (Poland) was a regional conference on international education project TEMPUS MMATENG (Modernization of two cycles (MA, BA) of competence-based curricula in Material Engineering according to the best experience of Bologna Process) by Tempus program № 543994-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-BE-TEMPUS-JPCR.

n2The conference was attended by members of the project consortium from Ukraine, Poland, Belgium and Germany.

From NTU "KPI" was project coordinator I. Bogomol. The program of the conference included workshops and presentations of consortium members at the Technical University of Krakow. They also discussed reports of Ukrainian partners, next training course and the plans of the project for next year.
